Key findings (72 completed jobs in the Raleigh area, nearly all opened in 2025 and 2026):

• 65% replacements, 35% repairs: of 62 completed jobs classified as one or the other, 40 were full roof replacements and 22 were repairs.
• The opposite of Columbus: in our Columbus Roof Repair Report 2026, 82% of jobs were repairs.
• Dunn leads: 13 completed jobs, followed by Clayton (6), Raleigh (5) and Smithfield (4).
• Homeowners drive repairs: 20 of 22 repair jobs were for homeowners.

What this means for Raleigh-area homeowners

Many of the roofs we see in the Triangle and the towns south and east of it are at the end of their life, so a replacement quote is common. A repair is still worth asking about first: a good inspection should tell you plainly whether the roof has years left.

Methodology

• Source: Roof Revivers Raleigh's job management system (JobNimbus), exported read-only on October 22, 2026. The Raleigh business keeps its own job records, separate from Ohio.
• Sample: 72 completed jobs (status paid, invoiced or work complete), opened 2023-09-09 to 2026-10-14, of 183 total records. Open, estimate-only, lost and cancelled jobs were excluded.
• Repair vs replacement: from the job's roof scope fields, or the job's lead type where those were blank. 10 jobs that were neither are shown separately and left out of the repair/replacement percentage.
• Problem types: not reported. Only 2 repair jobs had written notes, too few to break down.
• Privacy: aggregate counts only. No customer names, addresses or job values are published.
• Limits: this is one contractor's data and a small sample, not a survey of the whole market.

Replacements. Of 62 completed Roof Revivers jobs in the Raleigh area classified as repair or replacement, 65% were full roof replacements and 35% were repairs. That is the opposite of our Columbus, Ohio data, where most jobs are repairs.

Which towns around Raleigh does Roof Revivers work in most?

In our completed jobs, Dunn had the most (13), followed by Clayton (6), Raleigh (5), Smithfield (4). Much of our work is south and east of Raleigh in Harnett and Johnston counties.

Who orders roof repairs in the Raleigh area?

Mostly homeowners. 20 of 22 completed repair jobs were for homeowners; the rest were commercial.

When is roofing busiest around Raleigh?

In our data, summer had the most completed jobs opened (24 of 72). The sample is small, so treat seasonal patterns as a rough guide.
