A storm-damage shingle repair in Reynoldsburg, shown with before and after crew photos.
Reynoldsburg, Ohio · August 2026
This Reynoldsburg homeowner asked us for a storm inspection in April 2026. On the roof we found shingles with tabs missing, which left the layer underneath exposed, and creased tabs that had been lifted and folded along the same courses. The damage was in specific spots, not across the whole roof, so the fix was a repair rather than a replacement.
The homeowner went ahead with the repair, and in early August 2026 the crew replaced the damaged shingles, including the section next to the metal flashing shown below. After the work was done, we emailed the homeowner photos of the finished repair.
Missing, creased or lifted shingles are some of the most common signs of storm damage. A creased tab has lost its seal and can lift again in the next wind, and a missing tab leaves less protection over that part of the roof. Catching it at an inspection keeps a small repair from turning into a leak. See our storm damage roof repair service and roof repair in Reynoldsburg.
