Roofing in Stonehenge, North Raleigh

Roof repair and replacement for Stonehenge’s established homes under mature trees.

About Stonehenge

Stonehenge is a large North Raleigh community around Creedmoor Road and Howard Road, between I-440 and I-540. It began in the late 1970s and grew through the 1980s and 1990s, so it mixes original 1970s and 1980s homes, later sections and some newer construction, plus townhomes. Lots are wooded and many streets are lined with mature trees.

What Stonehenge roofs need

• Older asphalt shingle roofs on 1970s and 1980s homes, where an inspection tells you whether a repair or a replacement makes sense.
• Tall hardwoods and pines that drop limbs in storms and fill gutters and valleys with leaves and needles.
• Pipe boots, chimney flashing and skylights on older homes, which are common leak points.

Community association notes

Stonehenge has a voluntary community association. Some sections have their own covenants, so if you are changing roof color or material, check what applies to your street first. We supply product and color details if you need them.
