What we found and what we did

This Gahanna homeowner called us about a leak, and the job was a replacement of the front slope only, about 14 squares. The crew tore the old shingles off that slope and installed new Owens Corning Oakridge shingles in Brownwood, with new underlayment and a new ridge cap.

When our project manager walked the roof before the install, some of the plywood felt weak, so he picked up replacement sheets to have on hand. Once the old shingles were off, the decking turned out to be in decent shape and no plywood had to be replaced. The crew finished the install in a single day, and we picked up the leftover material from the home the same afternoon.

Why replace one slope

When the wear and the leak are on one side of a roof and the other slopes still have life left, replacing just that slope can be the practical call. We look at every slope during the free inspection and show you photos before you decide. See our Columbus roof replacement service and roof replacement in Gahanna.
