How the process usually works

1. Inspection. We inspect the roof and attic and photograph damage and the overall condition. The inspection is free.
2. You decide whether to file. We tell you what we found. Filing is your decision.
3. Adjuster visit. Your insurer sends an adjuster. We can be there to point out the damage we documented.
4. Insurer's decision. Your insurance company decides what's covered. You'll receive their estimate.
5. Supplements. If the approved scope leaves out items needed to do the job to code and manufacturer specs, we document them and send a supplement request to your insurer. Your insurer decides on it.
6. Repair or replacement. If work goes ahead, we complete it to the approved scope and manufacturer specs.

Hail can bruise shingles and knock granules loose, wind can crease or lift tabs and peel ridge caps, and fallen limbs can puncture decking.
