Roof repair in Worthington

Between May 2024 and October 2026 we completed 16 roof repair jobs for customers with a Worthington mailing address (Columbus Roof Repair Report 2026). Across all of our Central Ohio repair jobs, an active leak was the most common reason for the call.

At a recent ridge cap and roof vent repair in Worthington, a home inspection had flagged damaged, loose ridge cap shingles and badly placed nails with worn-out sealant next to the bathroom vents. The crew replaced the ridge caps and the old vent covers, then re-shingled and sealed around the vents. Ridge caps take the most wind on a roof, and vent openings are a common place for water to follow a nail into the attic. More on roof repair in Columbus and Central Ohio.

Roofs in Old Worthington and the Architectural Review District

Worthington set up its Architectural Review Board in 1967. The Architectural Review District covers the original village plat, known as Old Worthington (bounded by North, South, Morning and Evening Streets), plus High Street and Granville Road (Route 161) inside the city. The board hears requests for exterior changes to buildings in that district, and a change to a roof there can need a Certificate of Appropriateness, with elevations and samples of the materials and colors, on top of the building permit (City of Worthington).

The city's design guidelines say asphalt shingles are the most common roof in Worthington, with a considerable amount of slate still in service, and they ask owners in the district to repair and keep traditional roofs such as slate or wood shingle where they can. If your home is in the district, talk to the city's planning staff at (614) 431-2424 before choosing a new roof material or color. Outside the district, the city's permit process notes that roofing replacement projects may need the manufacturer's literature with the application. We handle the permit paperwork with you.

Roof replacement in Worthington

When the shingles are worn out across the roof, or the decking is soft in several areas, a replacement makes more sense than another repair. We install Owens Corning shingle systems; qualifying Owens Corning systems installed by a Platinum Preferred Contractor can carry the Owens Corning Platinum warranty with 25 years of non-prorated coverage. You get a written estimate with the scope spelled out before anything is signed. Our repair-or-replace guide explains how we make the call.

Storm damage and insurance in Worthington

After wind or hail, we inspect the roof, document damage with photos and work with any insurance adjuster; whether a claim is approved is up to your insurer. If water is coming in, call during office hours and we can tarp the roof to limit damage until the permanent repair. See storm damage roof repair.

What our customers say

Roof Revivers did a full roof replacement for our home in Worthington. They were outstanding to work with - very professional, dependable and completed the work in the timeline they originally outlined. I highly recommend going with Roof Revivers.

Nick was great! He explained the issue we were having, the solution, and how to monitor and maintain the life of our roof. I will not only definitely contact Roof Revivers in the future, but recommend them to anyone with roofing issues.

We had a great experience with Roof Revivers, they helped make the hail damage claim submission process easy, providing my insurer with detailed pictures of the damage which helped the process go smoothly. On the day of installation, they showed up bright and early and had the entire roof done by early afternoon. They did a great job of cleanup, I wasn’t able to find any nails or materials on the property after the job. They did a great job at replacing the gutters as well. Very quick and efficient and I love my new black gutters and roof. I would recommend Roof Revivers to anyone.

Roof revivers made is so easy to get our roof replaced! Our new roof looks great and took less than a day to complete!! They were also so sweet to show my son our roof and yard with their cool drone!! I highly recommend them if you are looking for great quality, speed, and care for your home!!

Outstanding work. Very professional and courteous. I will highly recommend this company to others.

We are grateful to have had Joey help us! He was professional & knowledgeable and he kept us updated throughout the entire process. He was able to get our leaking roof fixed ahead of schedule. The crew who repaired/replaced our roof was also professional and friendly. They cleaned up any mess that was made from the old roof being taken off. Our new roof looks great!!

Roof Revivers were extremely committed to helping me navigate the complexities of my insurance company’s requirements in order to address hail damage on my roof. The installation was quick and seamless once started, follow-ups were efficient and supportive. They were also quick to rectify an issue regarding an oversight and compensated accordingly. Great team from start to finish!

I had a persistent slow roof leak above my garage. I spoke with Luke, who seemed very confident that he understood the problem, enough so that after speaking with 3 other roofing companies earlier, I pulled the trigger with RoofRevivers. The repair people arrived on time and went right to work. They were very professional and courteous. As it so happened, it rained cats and dogs the evening of the repair. I obviously was very pleased to see absolutely no leak and I cannot tell after seeing what they had torn out earlier, that they had even been there. Very nice experience.

Zeke was wonderful during our inspection. We had a leak that only happened when the wind came from a certain direction during a storm. It turns out the caps weren't installed well. The gentleman who came out installed new caps and made sure to cover them with shingles as should have been done by the homebuilder. Everyone was friendly and easy to work with. They didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need and we're confident our leak is gone.

Ten Star Service. Nick (1) arrived on time, (2) completed a thorough inspection, (3) showed me the pictures, and (4) clearly described the condition of the roof, options for remedying the problems, merits of each option, and costs. Couldn't ask for better service.
